Convalescent plasma orders by local hospitals show downward trend

Carter BloodCare responds to Convalescent Plasma (CCP) orders, works to keep CCP at the ready for local hospital patients struggling to survive COVID-19

Carter BloodCare provides data updates for local, regional, national health officials and news teams to provide perspective on needs of local patients.

Those that have survived COVID-19 are still needed to donate convalescent plasma to save lives of patients that may have no other options for survival. It is safe to give blood and CCP, even in the midst of a pandemic.

For more information on donor eligibility and to make an appointment, call 1-800-366-2834 or visit carterbloodcare.org. Carter BloodCare continues to offer COVID-19 antibody testing on successful donations, for a limited time. Donors can retrieve their results within one to two weeks through a secure portal on the blood center’s web site that donors set up following a donation.
